Behavioral Intervention Services

Have you ever noticed that your child acts differently depending on the environment or who’s around? Children’s behaviors don’t just happen in isolation or in a single setting. That’s why we take a comprehensive umbrella approach when creating a behavioral intervention plan to help your child learn how to navigate all kinds of situations and deal with all kinds of individuals.

We don’t just focus on your challenged kiddo. Their behavior impacts the whole family, so we work with all of you. And while there are specific skills we teach in a clinic setting, we also have to address what happens in real life outside of the office. So, we’ll make sure you can apply what you’ve learned out and about as well as at home.

Behavioral Intervention In Any Setting

At Home

All too often, skills learned in a clinical setting seem to disappear on the home front. Since that’s where your kiddo feels safest, that’s where they’re often going to feel safe to act out. We help with parenting skills and then make sure you can use those effectively in the moment at home. Our goal is to get you all out of walking-on-eggshell, survival mode and back to being a family.

At Clinic

Does your child lack skills that come naturally to other kids? Sometimes, you have to teach a child how to develop, and a diagnosis of autism, ADD, ADHD, or anything else won’t help with that. Nor will trying to correct the problem behavior when it’s happening.

That’s where we come in. We create a fun, energetic atmosphere for kids to learn to work on a variety of problematic behaviors. Through our unique scientific and research-based approaches—which include games, play, pretend and social interactions with other youngsters—and our positive behavior support, your kiddo can learn how to:

  • Listen for the first time

  • Follow directions

  • Complete a project

  • Deal with their emotions constructively

  • And so much more

We don’t have a one-size-fits-all behavior intervention plan. Instead, we help each family and child to work towards independent goals based on their individual needs.

Distance Learning/School

Children learn differently, but all too often, schools don’t accommodate that. Whether your child is hampered by ADD, ADHD, autism, Asperger Syndrome, or any other challenge that impacts their learning or social interactions, we advocate for your kiddo and help you navigate the red tape of getting the services they need. We also observe your child in action at school and collaborate with the school administration, staff, and teachers to create an effective learning program and a positive environment.

We are fortunate to be able to support families and their children from 18 months to 18 years of age. It is truly a blessing to watch your children grow, flourish and reach their utmost potential. We stay connected to all our families long after services are needed.
